"Recommended to other business travelers"
Charlotte | Feb 12, 2009 | Trip type: Family
Hotel had the things I needed, wireless, nice size work space in the room,
convenient location to IBM in the park, and hot breakfast. The room was
very clean (and I have stayed at many other high end hotels that were
not this clean) and appeared to be recently renovated (had LCD tv lol).
Desk staff was quite friendly. To be a Comfort Inn they try really hard
and present well. I would stay again and I recommend to others.
"Well Maintained and Appointed"

The rooms were clean and furnished in quite high quality when compared
with most Comfort Inn properties. Everything was in good repair and the
service was just fine. The property has both exterior and interior rooms,
so you can choose the style you prefer. I prefer interior halls, so I
was quite surprised that they were an option after seeing the exterior
doors. You cannot beat the location!
"Nicer than I expected"
Decatur, GA | Jul 13, 2008 | Trip type: Family
Stayed here this wkend on a trip to Durham with my daughter. I expected
a typical 2-star but this was much nicer. There is a large covered entry
with nice benches for a smoke. Most of the rooms are inside entry (elevator
worked well), altho it looked like some had outdoor entries. Ours was
3rd floor, very clean and safe. The room looked like it was recently renovated,
two very nice queen beds with 4 pillows each, large whirpool tub in bathroom.
Nice flat-screen TV. Had internet (I think wifi too) but I didn't bring
my laptop so can't comment. Decent free breakfast (cereal, waffle maker,
pastries, coffee, juice). Last trip to Durham my husband and I splurged
and stayed at the Siena in Chapel Hill ($180/night) and really for $55*
this Comfort Inn wasn't a big let-down after that. Sure, the Siena had
real marble, plusher towels, gorgeous lobby, etc., but for the price difference
this was a great deal.
*I got this price with a corporate discount,
but the AAA $66 would be reasonable for this room.
"Nice hotel, good location, limited facilities"

Good location to visit multiple stops in RTP. Right near highway so make
sure you get room facing away from highway if you are concerned about
noise. Only problem was some rooms have older AC units and hard to get
room cold enough if you like it cold in room
