The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC, North Carolina,
or simply Carolina)[13] is a public research university located in Chapel
Hill, North Carolina, United States. The university is the oldest in,
and flagship of, the University of North Carolina system. Duke University
in Durham and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, the university
forms one of the corners of the Research Triangle.
North Carolina Central University is a comprehensive university offering
programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, professional and selected
doctoral levels. It is the nation’s first public liberal arts institution
founded for African-Americans.
Duke University is a private research university located in Durham, North
Carolina, United States. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day
town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892.[8] In 1924,
tobacco industrialist James Buchanan Duke established The Duke Endowment,
prompting the institution to change its name in honor of his deceased
father, Washington Duke.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are the athletic teams for the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The name Tar Heel is a nickname used
to refer to individuals from the state of North Carolina, the Tar Heel
State. Being the flagship institution of the University of North Carolina
system, the campus at Chapel Hill is referred to as the University of
North Carolina for the purposes of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
The Tar Heels are commonly referred to as Carolina, North Carolina, or
simply The Heels.

TLC's "What Not to Wear," made the list for USA Today, ranking

Built in the early 1930s, the tower of Duke Chapel soars 210 feet (65
meters) into the sky. James B. Duke, founder of the chapel, felt that
its presence would influence the spiritual lives of Duke students. Fine
ornamentation, stained glass and four beautifully crafted organs, including
a Flentrop or "Bach's organ," draw thousands of admirers each
year. The superior acoustics showcase the moving a cappella hymns of the
choir beautifully.

1926 performance hall that is one of the last remaining 13 original theatres
in Durham and is the only historic theatre in the country to have two
fully operating state-of-the-art cinemas. Durham is a city in the U.S.

The Durham Bulls are a minor league baseball team based in Durham, North
Carolina. The team, which plays in the International League, is the Triple-A
affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays major-league club. The Bulls play in Durham

located in downtown Durham. The team became internationally famous in
1988 following the release of the movie Bull Durham.
